Responding to a Prequalification Request

  1. In Qualify, navigate to the Requests sub app.
  2. From the report pane, select the existing request you want to respond to.
  3. Click Edit from the top toolbar.
  4. Double-check that the appropriate Statement of Qualifications is listed in the Existing Statement field. If you update the Existing Statement field, click Save before proceeding to the next step.
  5. Scroll to the Documents section of the Request. You should see a list of documents that you have attached to your Statement of Qualifications.
  6. Click Add Composite.
    • What’s a Composite? Your Statement of Qualifications may have many attachments. Rather than emailing them as separate attachments, you can compile them into a single PDF so all of your information stays together in one file for GC’s to review.
  7. In the popup form, enter a Filename for the composite PDF. This filename will be viewable to recipients of your Statement of Qualifications.
  8. Select each attachment you want to include in your composite PDF and use the up and down arrows to specify the order of the documents in the composite PDF. For example, you may select and order the following documents: Cover Letter, Content List, Statement 721, any required documents.
  9. Check Include On Send to indicate that you will want to send the Composite document when you respond to a prequalification request.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Click Save/Close.
  12. Click Send from the top toolbar.
  13. Enter your recipient(s), subject, and message, and review the attached documents.
    • Note: To enter a recipient, you must have that recipient listed in your Kahua contact list. To create a new contact, see help topic Creating a New Contact.
  14. Click Send. Any responses will come to your email.
