Kahua has incorporated several videos to assist users with common activities.  These videos can be accessed by clicking the circled “?” icon in the app bar for apps that have content.

For Administrators


Administrators have the ability to customize this content.  In Configuration for each app, there is now a “Videos and Documentation” tab.  These controls allow you to disable the preloaded content as well as define any custom video or PDF content for your users.  The Video and Documentation functionality follows Kahua’s inheritance model, so if there is any project specific content, you can configure content at the project it is needed.  Otherwise, it is recommended to load your content at the domain root so it is available in all projects. 


Videos fields:
Name:  The name of the content, this is not exposed in the panel
Label:  The value that appears for the title of the documentation in the panel
Description:  The descriptive value of the content that appears under the Label in the panel
Wistia ID:  Videos must be hosted on wistia.com.  This is the ID of the video; do not include the entire URL of the Wistia video


Documents fields:
Name:  The name of the content, this is not exposed in the panel
Label:  The value that appears for the title of the documentation in the panel
Description:  The descriptive value of the content that appears under the Label in the panel
PDF URL:  The full URL of the PDF to be displayed.  PDFs must be hosted on a publicly available webpage.  PDFs that reside in Kahua are not permitted to be used as a help document due to permissions and access controls that are enforced.
