The 2023.2 Kahua release contained an updated launcher for our Windows users that is protected by an updated signing certificate. We have received reports of instances where a user has been unable to launch Kahua after the update. The following steps can be used to resolve the issue:
- Delete the current Kahua desktop shortcut icon.
- Go to the Kahua launch page at https://launch.kahua.com/ .
- Select “Download for Windows”
- Execute the kahuasetup.exe file that is downloaded ( typically to your system’s Downloads folder ).
The launcher will proceed to update Kahua and start our latest version, and recreate the Kahua desktop shortcut. No further action is necessary.
If you receive the following error message, please restart your computer, and re-run the installer.
If the error continues, please contact your Kahua Administrator with the setup log.
