We’re pleased to report that connectivity to the US Kahua Commercial Network (KCN) has been fully resolved as of 11:21 AM EST.

The disruption was caused by emergency maintenance from one of our internet service provider for our data centers, which extended beyond the originally scheduled window. Our team worked diligently throughout the night to reroute traffic and maintain performance by leveraging our other datacenters.

We’ve confirmed that all systems are now operating normally, and performance metrics remain stable. We will continue to monitor closely and work with our provider to prevent similar issues in the future.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding during this event. If you continue to experience any issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out to support@kahua.com.

Spell Check

Kahua has spell check functionality in both the desktop host and the webhost. Spelling errors will appear underlined with a squiggly red line. To review spelling suggestions, right-click on the underlined word or phrase.

There is a slight variation in the functionality between the desktop host and the webhost, consistent with the variations present between Microsoft desktop applications and web browsers:

  • In the desktop host, a space or punctuation mark must be entered for the spelling to be checked.
  • In the webhost, a space is not required. Spelling will be checked as you type.

In both hosts, text that is copied and pasted is automatically checked when it is pasted into a field.
